I am researching my family history and came across this site, which was recommended by a distant relative, whom I found online, recently. As I live in Australia, I am grateful to those people who kindly volunteer their time to do research for other people . I found photos of the gravestones of my 2x great grandfather, George Batley, his second wife, Elizabeth and their two daughters: Georgenia and Elizabeth Batley in this site. George died in 1896,, in Epworth, Lincolnshire and was born in 1816 and the dates given in this site for his wife and two daughters appear to be accurate. I would appreciate very much a copy of an enlarged image of George's gravestone and if I receive one, you can be sure that I would send an acknowledgement! I have helped others myself via genealogy sites, online and it is always worthwhile when one receives an acknowledgement of one's efforts.Thank you for considering my request.Gillian Northin.
